Fabrics
Being a natural material, there may be slight variations in width, handle and final colour between batches of cloth. Cleaning Painted wall hangings are artworks and should be treated as you would any other painting. Printed textiles can be made in machine washable grades but this will restrict the type of painting and guilding techniques used. Light Fastness As with most paintings and fabrics, many of the pigments used will fade in direct sunlight. Hanging Wall hangings have a pocket at the bottom edge for dowelling or weights. They are supplied with fabric loops or cords and can be lined or edged on request. |
